Good morning! I got a call from my vet tech this morning asking if I knew anyone who could take a baby squirrel. (One of their clients found it.) I don't have details, but I do have a phone number. If you can help this lady & the baby, I have the contact info for the lady.

Thanks!
Shanon

Update: Eyes closed, no fur. I'm going to see if I can pick him up later today. Anyone got young ones near me?

I personally don't know of anyone with little ones that small. What's the status?

How is this baby doing? I know of some rehabbers on the west coast, but I don't know if they have any little ones. Are you still looking for someone?

He's got a sprained wrist. Doc said he should heal up as he grows. He's already gained 5 grams. We've named him Peanut. I've raised singles before, so I can do it. Of course, it's always better to have more than one. I know someone in Tampa. I'm going to check with her. Let me know if someone can take him.

No dice in Tampa. 🙁
Peanut is doing well & gaining weight nicely. ☺
He's certainly a squirmy little one. I've never had a baby so squirrelly. Feeding him is like trying to hit a moving target! :bliss

Shanon he looks gorgeous! Wish my pinks were that chubby :Love_Icon I hear ya about the moving target.....mine are ok feeding but don't want to be pottied. They are like those armadillos that roll up into a complete ball :rotfl
