I have 2 Eastern gray squirrels that are about 1 week old & weigh 17 grams. I've been raising squirrels for about 10 years but never any this small. I've had them since saturday & they are eating, gaining weight & going to the bathroom great. Just got them out & heard clicking from one of them. They need Cipro correct? Is there another antibiotic I could use? Also how much & how often would I give it to them? I have contacted a few friends that work in vet office & waiting on responses now.

Clavamox is the preferred antibiotic, but baytril can also be used. Once you have the drug, post the name and strength and someone will help you dose.
What part of Florida are you located?

By the way, Baytril and Cipro are the same, only Baytril is for animals and Cipro is for humans.
So if you can find Cipro that's great too.
What formula are you feeding, and what sized syringes are you using?
Are you using a nipple?

You will need to obtain a weight on your little one for dosing.
Meds are dosed by body weight.

Of the 2 antibiotics you mentioned I would use the cotrimoxazole (SMZ/TMP) if needed. If you can give us the concentration on the tablet (mg) or liquid (mg/ml) we can give you dosing instructions. Pinkies do tend to make little noises with their mouth but if you even think there is clicking I would treat and not wait. They can crash so fast. :(
I hope your post about the formula is a decimal error. You said he ate 0.08cc. You did mean 0.8cc, right? :tilt
(0.08cc is a large drop)

The cotrimoxazole says its double strength. Trimethoprin 160mg & Sulphamethoxezole 800mg.
