We rescued a squirrel about 3 months ago, he wandered into my art studio with hole in head and tail bitten off. Bottle fed and weaned him and he has been a silly and healthy boy. 5 days ago he started having seizures, is lethargic and rigid. Have been dosing tums, cherry tabs, crushed up with water and he is still not doing well. I have called every vet in town and surrounding area...no one will see him. Started dosing reptile liquid calcium today, but he is doing really bad. Does not recognize me and is very rigid and scared.

Please give advice for him asap, we are desperate to save him !

First of all...thank-you for helping this poor guy! :Love_Icon
I think that sometimes when there is a head injury, the results of the neurological damage can take time to appear. My own theory is that when the skull fuses and the brain grows, it can create pressure and swelling where the injury was. This can result in issues such as seizures. Is there any chance that you can get prednisone? If you do, we can help you to try dosing that to alleviate the swelling in his brain which may help his symptoms.
We really need to know exactly what he eats every day, what formula you fed him, and when he weaned.
Posting a picture may be helpful also and if you have a video of the seizure that would also possibly help someone here to see what is going on with him.
