Do you have the baby inside? Put him in a container with plenty of soft cloths to bury himself in--no towels--old tee shirts are fine. Put the container half on a heating pad on low. Put a towl folded in half over the heating pad. He's likely dehydrated. Warm one cup of water till you can just put your finger in it. Add a tablespoon of sugar and barely a quarter teaspoon of salt. Mix it well. Dip your pinky finger in it and touch it to his lips. He may suck on your finger or at least a tiny bit will go in. It'll help hydrate the little guy who is likely shocky and dehydrated. How big is he? What does he look like? (Fur, eyes open, tail floofed) Any vets around? The smart folks of TSB will be on soon to help you help your baby. What have you done for him so far?

Could you post a picture of the baby? We can better tell you what to do if we know how old he is. Warm, dark and quiet is the way to go for the moment.:Love_Icon

Go to the very first page of THESQUIRREL BOARD, then scroll all the way down and you will see a forum that is titled "how do I post a picture". I am sure that you will be able to do it. Took me a few tries, but I finally got it done.

You can email them to squirrelhelp @ uysinc.com (but remove those spaces) if the uploading does not work out and I will post them for you.
