Can someone help me dose infant ibuprofen for Peepers? As well as an antibiotic. I also have clavamox 50mg/12.5 and SMZ/TMP 240mg/5ml. The ibuprofen is 50mg/1.25ml. I've attached a picture of him for weight guesstimate. He is not using his right front leg, possibly a bite.

How old is peepers?
Helps to guess weight...
What's the "possibility a bite" about
does he have a visible injury?

Yes, has two small punctures on the topside and bottom side of leg. It looks like it is swollen. The marks look like they could be from a squirrel because they are close together. We've cleaned the dried blood off. It does not seem to be infected yet.

I'm sorry just want to make sure I understand... I wouldn't have guessed that.
Your saying he's about 16 months old??

Sure. He was born around January of last year. I got them in March and they had eyes open.

We realized after we took the nest box down from outside and brought it in to tend to Peepers, that Nibbles was also inside the nest box. Then after realizing that I wasn't thinking and put Peeps back in the nest box and put the nest box in the lower portion of the critter Nation cage. I should have put the nest box outside last night when it was just Nibbs inside and put Peeps into the cage, but I wasn't thinking clearly. Both squirrels woke up this morning and didn't freak out, surprisingly, and have been sleeping inside the nest box.
My plan is to wait until tonight when they are sleepy and easier to handle and separate them like I should have done last night.
Does anyone think this is a bad plan or have a better way of how I should handle this?

Peepers leg has me a little concerned and I could use some input, please.
The bite marks look good. They are not inflammed or red. We could gently move his leg to clean the wounds on the inside without him complaining, but he is still not using it at all.
My questions are: If it was broken, wouldn't he complain when I moved it? How would I know it was broken? Swelling and obvious bump? Are there any other reasons, besides discomfort, that would cause him to not want to use it? I just don't want to miss something.
He is still getting ibuprofen and clavamox, but I also have Metacam if that would be better for him.
On a positive note, we got Nibbles transferred to another cage so he could go outside and be free in the trees again after accidentally having to spend two nights in the house with Peeps. :bliss

I'm attaching photos. The first one is from when I first discovered his injury and brought him inside. The rest were taken a few minutes ago. Thank you.
The injury is on his right leg. He did use it to hold the nut but is not walking on it.

Can someone help me breakdown and dose meloxicam 15mg pill for Peepers? Not exactly sure of weight but it is between 400 and 500gr. I think about 470gr. I will attempt to get a firm weight if it doesn't stress him too much.

Here is a recent video of Peepers moving and letting his arm hang. Does it look broken? He's still jumping around but is not using his arm to climb.

While up at Dr. E's with Tara I asked her to look at the video of Peepers not using his front leg. She believes the bite could have hit the nerve in his arm which is why he's not using it. If the nerve wasn't severed it can regenerate but can take 6-8 weeks. She said if he's not better in 3 weeks then he could have permanent damage. He is still on clavamox and Metacam.
This morning he seemed to be using his paw a little more so I am hopeful he will regain full use of it so he can return to the trees. :w00t
He's bring a very good boy and hasn't tried to bite once. :clap

That is excellent news. I've had babies come in with nerve damage that resulted in either one or both hind legs not working. In all cases except my little Krista, who had an actual fracture, full function was restored to all and they were released. :dance

Did Dr. E mention using Gabapentin?
We've seen excellent results with that.

No, she didn't mention that and I completely forgot. :shakehead LG has a follow up visit tomorrow afternoon. If I got some then, would it be too late to administer it? The injury occurred almost a week ago. Everyday he seems to be using it a bit more, so I'm hopeful.

That's great that he's using it more! :w00t
Lennysmom started Ana on it almost a week after she
got her, and it did amazing things as she became so much more
mobile. Chickenlegs started one of her little ones on it close
to a week after she got her, and she got a great result as well,
as did SquirrelySteve and my little Harvey.

Looking at that video it looks to be more his "wrist" then his arm.
He's using his arm just not putting weight down on it, his wrist looks
as if it's been broken or dislocated??
If you were to lightly pinch a finger on that paw does he react to it?

Update on Peepers: After having him inside for 6 days and dosing with Metacam and clavamox, he seems to be doing very well. I waited until I saw him running around the room and using his right foot well before I decided it was time for him to be free in the trees again. I was VERY tempted to keep him inside where I knew he would be safe, especially since he seemed to adapt very quickly to being inside again. He never tried to bite me when I had to give him his medicine or handle him. He seemed to love the attention and back scritches I gave him. But when I watched him go to the window and look longingly at the outside world I knew that I couldn't do that to him. :sadness
So, we took him outside to his tree and let him go. I have noticed that neither he or his brother have used the next box that we captured them in to bring them inside. I wonder if they ever will again? They are using the other box in their tree, though.
Peeps looking out the window wanting to be in the trees. :serene

Glad that Peeps is so much better and is heading to
the trees. At least they know where to come if they get into
trouble.
You ALWAYS do the right thing by your squirrels.
I just love that about you! :blowkiss
