Injuries leg

I found my latest squirrel running up to me when I was taking the dogs out. I scooped her up looking around for the mama. I noticed she was thin and injured. She is a small but eyes are opened and she has fur. She has good sized red and swollen smooshy place on her left leg right above her foot. What should I do to treat the area?
