My little Sandy had some blood tinged urine yesterday, she just urinated again and it's darker red...thoughts? Urine doesn't have a strong smell and she doesn't seem to be in pain. She is eating and drinking and playing normally. She's about 12 weeks old.

Has she eaten cranberries or acorns lately?
Has she had any type of fall or accident?

She has not had any cranberries or acorns. She did have a fall, but this was about 2 weeks ago. She fell from the top of her cage (about 4.5 ft tall). She did not have any immediate complications after the fall. Could the blood be a result of a possible injury from that long ago? :(

It's possible that she injured something....if the bloody urine persists I would definitely try to get a vet's opinion on this one. :(

No blood today! I was happy to see that, but find it odd still. And she's still just as crazy (VERY active) as usual and eating normally, so I guess I will just continue to monitor her.

Possibly it was something fed her, there are other foods that can change their urine color temporary.
I would definitely keep a check on her urine output and how she is urinating, not straining, just spotting, etc.
