Dixie and oak leaves.

Dixie is doing great.
My husband cut a small limb with leaves off of a oak tree today, I put it in her cage..she went ballistic.... Very aggressive, chattering at us. Shes very food aggressive, but never thought she would over tree leaves. She chewed on them, played in the leaves, had a blast.
She has a fat belly too, a pooch. I hope Im not feeding her too much.

I've noticed sometimes the captive girls tend to get a little pudgey at around 7 to 8 months old - in fact, I thought one of my overwinters was pregnant because she seemed to ballon out some overnight even though I only fed her the recommended diet of two HHBs, healthy veggies, and two nuts a day. Once released though, she slimmed down. From your description with Dixie's agressiveness, it sounds like she might be starting to wild up some. Are you planning to release her?
