I am wondering if there is a smoothy to make for a 7 year old squirrel who has no top teeth and is having trouble eating. Will eat only peas when unthawed. Please any suggestions is welcomed and than you. He has been to a vet and they say he is fine.

What about organic baby food, there are alot of choices. Maybe add avacados or almond butter to hold it together and add ground up Henry's blocks . Don't know if it will work but it might be worth a try.

It's kinda like the boo balls I have seen on the board. The times I have made some like that for my boy he ate them frozen. Since your baby has no top teeth frozen may not work. If he is accustomed to licking his food then maybe soupy like. I guess you will have to play around with it and find what works for him. You could also add in some calcium carbonate just as extra insurance for his calcium needs.

I recommend baby food. Grind up hhb and blend it together. That way he will get all nutrition needed. Good luck

Does baby food contain too much Iron and it has something else in it that is good for babies but might not be great for furry babies. My brain has not had enough coffee to remember what it is.
What about adding some formula to the smoothy?

My dwarf has been on baby food 4-5 times a day for more than a year and he's doing great. Baby food has no additives so the iron content will vary depending on the type of vegetable (s). If preferred you can always make your own babyfood by taking items from the healthy diet for squirrels listing and boil/steam them till very soft and then put them in a blender and purée them till smooth adding cooking liquid till the consistency desired.
