Hi all. Last week after a storm, I was brought this little chipmunk who was found washed out in a ditch covered in mud. Currently he weighs 39 grams and is eating formula pretty well and also occasionally will nibble on rodent block banana and avocado. I notice after a few days that he doesn't use his front legs very much but does have the use of them. I chalked that up to his being inexperienced in walking and using those legs.

I notice that he also seems to always lean to one side. Hopefully the picture gives you an idea. I took a little video of his walking around so you can see how he leans to the left. Is this in any way attributable to his being so little and Young or does this look like a possible birth defect or other problem that I might be able to address?

https://youtu.be/atAtglqfEbo here is the video. Any help.or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Update- I found a little rock and dirt in one ear. This could be the problem. He is sleeping right now

He is really cute, I have never cared for a chipmunk before. Is it my imagination or does he blink a lot in the video and he definitely is leaning towards one side.
Were you able to remove the dirt and rock from his ear?

Yes, the dirt and rock were removed. His ear seems pretty clean now. He is still leaning, but we will see if he has a little more balance tomorrow. I never noticed excessive blinking.
