Have a friend on FB that needs some help removing critters from house. They think it might be possums as they have seen those on the back porch. Hearing noises at night in the walls and floors and breathing in the register grate for the central/AC. Husband is not able to get under house due to health to check for where they are coming in at and money is tight as well. They would love to have someone come to humanely trap and remove if possible. Is there anyone in the area that might be able to help out? They could probably pay to have someone close up the entrances once all the animals are out. She's about 2 hours south of Atlanta in the Macon/Warner Robbins area.

Actually I've been putting together a list of companies/people who humanely work with the home owners to either move the animals out of the house or remove and relocate them.
trapping and relocating has a high mortality rate, what is best is to get them to leave on their own and then fix the issue that is allowing them entrance to your house.

I'll pass along the information about the tips on getting them to move on. They aren't really sure what species is involved but some of these tips might help out if it's just a nesting situation. Hopefully they can get them to move out and get a handyman in to correct the access points. They are also reluctant to the trapping due to the high quotes they are getting and they have an outdoor cat that might be caught in a live trap. I've offered suggestions about the cat being safely restrained for a period but they said that wasn't possible.
