I didn't know where to post this, but thought it should be put out there for eyes to see.

Joey has been on this medication for more than a year. It is Metoclopromide, which helps his intestines propel food/feces through. I just had to have the Rx renewed and had CVS contact Dr. Emersons office to request the renewal. I never payed much attention to the instructions on the bottle because when I got the medication from Dr. Emersons office originally they gave me a dosing syringe with the redline sticker on it showing me how much to draw up to dose Joey.

This morning I happened to glance at the bottle and did a double take and looked closer at the dosing syringe. I was surprised at what I believe is an error, but not sure who made it. My guess is it is CVS and this is probably what has been written on my bottles all along. This would also explain why shortly after I get the RX filled they are contacting me via phone saying Joeys Rx is due to be refilled.

I've added pictures. I hope I am reading the bottle and syringe correctly. I'm not the best at reading a syringe so I'm always double checking before I administer medication to be sure I'm dosing the correct amount. So more experienced eyes to confirm what I suspect would be great. Thanks.

That is correct, that is 0.7 measured out correctly in the syringe.

Ok, so it is correctly written and measured on the syringe?

The bottle says 0.7 and the syringe is at 0.07. I would make a phone call....today! They are NOT the same.

Ok, Betsy, that's what I thought. As I said I'm not the best at this, but never really read the bottle because I had the pre-marked syringe. I KNOW I have been giving him the correct dose. He only ways 225gr.!

Crap you are correct, I read the bottle wrong. Ignore me. No sleep. I am sorry. (Thank you Betsy. I need to stay away from any med questions, my brain is fried.)

Glad you have gone by what was marked on syringe and not on the label.
Big difference between 0.07 and 0.7 :shakehead
