I've got a baby grey squirrel, I believe about 5 weeks old, maybe 6? We don't know what happened to the mom, but we watched as what seemed to be a sibling was killed by a crow across the street unable to do anything. Then this cutie showed up at our back door! We tried looking for mom. We didn't see a fallen nest or anything. There was a nearby squirrel watching so we guided him that way and walked away, but said squirrel did not seem happy to see him and left. He's very sweet. We put him in a box with a heating pad and an old robe. As odd as this is, I've given him breast milk for now until I can go to the store later today and get the esbilac. gave him a little apple chunk which he also enjoyed, but mostly played with. I'm hoping there is someone near me that can take him over. I'm definitely no pro. He seems to be healthy, has no obvious physical issues. **side note, I immediately realized that dish with milk was idiotic and removed it. Feeding him with a syringe!**

Do you know how I can get in touch with her? I can probably Google that I suppose too! That's not too terribly far from me

:thankyou for helping the baby.

The great thing about reaching a GREAT rehabber is that they have a network of rehabbers/assistants/people that they know that can step up in different areas. It's always best to reach out to find a rehabber that is known and has a track record. When you do that you can be 100% confident that your efforts and the life of your little charge is respected and gets the best possible care. You can always be certain with 2HRR or their recommendations. They are THE best, no doubt! :grin2

Thanks for caring! :grouphug
