Still botching teeth when trim

So Doodles, my special girl with saber tooth tiger incisors (top and bottom) needs very frequent trims ( q 8/10 days). I'm hoping to take her to Fla someday in the future for a dental consult . But in the meantime, even when I try the suggestions previously mentioned ( cut from side, avoid pulp, no nipping) I still cause splits ! Usually from top to bottom on back surfaces of the teeth ( and usually just the bottom incisors. I just purchased a brand new pair of flush cutters... Sharp enough , just my tequinique? Is there a video anywhere in the forum that shows how you do this, or even with dremmel ( been scared to try this but may need to). Thanks, for Doodles sake :)
