I just put some oak branches in with Scrappy Do and Rose and they immediately started munching on the leaves and bark. Is that ok? They are only eating formula and about (maybe) a half a HHB each so far. I can't seem to get them to eat more block so I just ordered Harlan-Tekland 18 to see if that would pique their interest.

It's OK. If they are eating half an HHB at 9 weeks that's fine. They will eat more as they get older.
Oh yes, do give them a branch to chew. I had never given babies branches to chew. A friend gave me some apple sticks for the babies. They went crazy over them. They chewed them like it was candy.

Thank you! They do have apple sticks to chew and love them. I just zip tied branches with leaves to their climbing cat tree not thinking they would eat the leaves, but they did. Lol I was just worried about them eating the leaves, but I'll quit worrying now! 😀

There is no problem with them eating the leaves and chewing on the bark AS LONG as you know that the branches and leaves have not been sprayed with any pesticides. Also they need to be from the "safe" list of trees and shrubs.

Great! Because they descended on them like a pack of hungry wolves! Lol I gave them oak branches from the back of our property just to be on the safe side! Thanks for your help! 🙂
