Hi everyone!!!

I've read pretty much every post on here about the clicking and sneezing and aspiration and pneumonia, etc. But I would just feel better having my own post and talking to someone personally.

This baby is about 5-6 weeks old. Between 95 and 100g and sneezing and off and on clicking sound only on the exhale I think and only every so often. Not all the time. It's hard to tell. I'm assuming the woman I got her from must have aspirated her when she first found her and fed her before she called me to come get her.

I'm pretty sure I need to get some amoxicillin in her, but not sure of the dosage and it is in tablet form.

Help please!

:D

April, how is the activity level? Has the appetite decreased?

Can you get Ciprofloxacin or Baytril or SMZ-TMP or Doxycycline?

With aspiration pneumonia the clicking would be with each breath. Sometimes they make little noises with their mouth that can be confused with clicking. There is a video of AP clicking. Let me find it.

Activity level is great. She even barked this morning waiting for food. And she at am about 6ml.
The only thing I know I can get is the amoxicillin.

She's not near this bad. I'll try to get a video of her and her clicking.

If it's only an every now and then click, do I need to worry about it?

Sorry, I had to step out. If it's an occasional click, it's probably not AP.
I would still try to get Cipro if you can find it. All you need is one pill.

We can use the Amoxicillin but I really don't like that for AP.

OK. I'll see what I can get my hands on. Thank you soooo much.
