I noticed a tiny bit of blood of my baby grey squirrels poop this evening. He hasn't gone as much today as usual. Any suggestions on what might be causing this? I believe Scooter to be around 6 weeks old. I introduced a deer antler and a Magnolia branch in his cage because he has developed teeth. I'm still feeding 5% body weight of formula and have ordered the Henry's blocks. My second question is when to introduce a water bottle?

I'm moving your thread to non emergency section to
get more eyes on it.
What formula are you feeding?
It should be the powdered puppy esblilac with probiotics
the third ingredient is dried whey protein concentrate.
No water bottle yet.
Keep him on formula as long as possible, it's the best insurance
against metabolic bone disease.
Can you take a picutre of your little one, and did you only
see the blood once?
If you see it again, take a picture.

I've only noticed the bloody poop once. He has a great appetite and seems fine otherwise. He wants to bite on my finger so I thought the small branch and antler might help with teething. I wondering if that might be the cause of the bloody poop.

Yeah, it's curious. I would take the branch away for now,
some branches aren't safe for squirrels and I'm not sure about magnolia branches. :dono
At the pet store they have these little branches called apple branches
They are just right size for these little ones.
You can also offer some rodent block.
Some use Native Earth’s 18% Protein 4018 Rodent Diet (Fomerly Harlan Teklad) or Oxbow’s Regal Rat food.
You can order these at Pet360.com, Amazon.com or TheCraftyRat.com.
The best blocks are from Henry's. This is what most members feed.
I always get the picky ones, but others get the high protein ones.

Edit: Your little one is just ADORABLE! :klunk
And yes, that's the correct formula! :woot
