Is she completely wild or can you pet her? She needs the area lanced, or at the least given some antibiotics for the infection.

Completely wild. I have no interaction with the squirrels at my parents.

I threw her an almond and she had no idea it was food.

That could be an abscess (more likely) or cancer (less likely). If it is an abscess, there are two general possible causes 1) some issue with her teeth is causing an infection or 2) some external injury lead to that abscess. In the first instance with her teeth, she would need to be captured so her teeth could be inspected and trimmed/cleaned up. If it is an abscess due to some external injury, I can almost gaurantee that abscess will "pop" any day now and some drainage will occur which can start the healing process. You could speed this up by capturing her, lancing and draining the abscess. I have seen wilds with abscess this large that had natural draining followed by a complete recovery without help. But this abscess location in the mouth region is more serious.
If this is some type of cancer, I don't think there is much you can do. :(

Keep tossing her almonds, she will figure it out very fast and it will help her keep up her strength.

I have antibiotics I could feed her. Only thing is there is no guarantee I'd see her everyday.

If that is an abscess, it will almost certainly pop in the next day or two. After it pops, might be the best time to start ABs. You can mix the AB in a marble sized boo ball. You might want to start giving her non-medicated boo balls now to get her used to eating them?

I don't think she didn't know it was food, I don't think she could handle it.
With an abscess that large the pressure has to be debilitating, no doubt it
is interfering with her ability to eat let alone crack nuts.

She was foraging and dug up something fairly large. She got pretty close to be to dig it up; she may have been desperate. When I got out of my car to take a pic, she ran to the tree and had to stop to readjust the nut more than she should have. It has to be killing her. I'm happy she's still eating.
