Good morning, I just wittnessed a adult squirrel fall from a tree. I waited to see if he/she was moving but saw no signs. I went over and it looks like he cannot use its back legs. We tried to get it in a cage but crawled up the tree into a snatch were he is right now. His leg and tail is hanging out. Please help.

Thank you for caring enough to try and help this baby. I'm sure there will be many others more experienced than me come on shortly, so stay connected. It maybe a waiting game between you and the injured squirrel. I think if you put a ladder up to try and get the squirrel he may go up higher. Let's see what some other members say. In the meantime do you know where you can get a live trap? They go under the name Havahart?
May be he has a temporary injury or is "stunned". How far was the fall?

Yes, please keep an eye on him.
How far do you estimate he fell and did you see how he landed (on head, rear end, etc.)? Oh, and did you see him before he fell.. and if so did he appear to be having issues or simply a miscalculated jump maybe?
Please start planning, because a good plan and preparedness is needed here to increase success and reduce likelihood of further injury.
Thick gloves, a blanket or two (preferably fleece or flannel?), a fishing net would come in handy and a container or cage; a pet carrier or plastic bin (with top and plenty of air holes) may do depending on his injuries.
Can you give us an idea of where in Ohio, perhaps we can find an experienced member nearby that can assist if needed?
