This is a silly question I know. I don't have any point of reference with pumpkin. I didn't even realize that squirrels have the sweetest fuzziest noses and the most amazing little feet before last summer. I figured it out and he is between 24 to 26 weeks old. My question is he was playing so rough all the time with his stuffies but he in the past little while (gradually) isn't play fighting as much, he still does have wrestling time every day but doesn't seem nearly as aggressive with it. Is that normal for this age? I also wanted to say that my husband pointed out to me that I was super defensive about pumpkin it's been bothering me. I think it is my own defense mechanism for my lack of knowledge in caring for him. I was concerned I came across that way in another post. My apology if I did, I'm working on it! Sometimes I'm a little better and more comfortable with animals than people. It's a beautiful morning up here in the mountains. Snow covered everything overnight.

I think it's typical for them to get a little less playful/aggressive sometimes.
I would imagine that you will see spurts of his "roughness" come out.
What I sometimes notice when they are out of the cage, is that instead of play fighting they like to do the
scoot around, as if something is chasing them, and they switch directions quickly.
But mine seldom play when outside their cage, they seem to always have a mission. :)

Super defensive about Pumpkin? You have NEVER appeared defensive in any of your writings!
You are being protective and just trying to get everything right.
I'd say you are doing one heck of a job! :w00t
