Just wanted to mention this for those who are not aware.
Most squirrels love fresh cranberries, which of course are available this time of year.

I give mine 2 each night. They are very good for their urinary systems.

I then buy a couple of bags to freeze, and serve them randomly throughout the year.

Happy holidays everyone!

My boy goes crazy for the fresh ones. Not so crazy about the frozen one though.

Thanks, I was wondering the same thing! :)

In case any humans reading this are not aware: I have found them an amazing addition to my own healthy blended drinks. I add about 8-10 fresh cranberries (I buy a huge bag of fresh ones during the holidays and freeze it.) to protein smoothies. They end up adding a light, quenchy, fruity dimension that is not sour or bitter. They actually lift the drink.

I was just thinking squirrels may like cranberries. I am glad to hear they do. I will try to feed my squirrels in the park some tomorrow. (I am leaving BooBalls for them each day and each day, the little ceramic dish is empty. It is the only way I can get them to eat rodent block.)
