Hello everyone, hope that you all had a great summer.

I'm here again with my little Trooper-Marie. I noticed this weekend that her tooth was looking a little funny, thinking that she had a piece of almond or something in her mouth. Today though i got a good look at her mouth and noticed that her upper right tooth has turned completely white, where as her left upper tooth has remained orange but has a white spot forming. I know squirrels are supposed to have orange teeth so this is kind of alarming me.

Nothing has changed in her behavior. She is still playful and doesn't appear to be getting sick. Sh has been in her room on her own for most of the days the past two weeks as my work load has been extremely busy. I have been going in to check on her periodically and i also have a baby monitor on her to keep an eye on her when im working. Nothing has been out of the ordinary except maybe some loneliness. My work load subsided though so I can spend much time with her again.

Her diet hasn't really changed either. she gets all her fruits and veggies, along with her treats. I don't know if calcium could be a part to play in this. She has not been getting blocks for a little while. I'll be making a fresh batch again tomorrow morning.

If anyone can help me shed some light on this, i would greatly appreciate it :)
Attached below is the only picture I can get at the moment. Ill try to get a better picture when she is sleeping. Shes too energetic at the moment.

I believe the orange color is a coating that can be rubbed off if TM has been particularly vigorous about her chewing lately. I do remember seeing this in one of my overwinters, one year......suddenly he had a white tooth in front where they had been orange before.

Awesome. I kinda figured. Just had a weird feeling that it may have been a tooth issue or even a dead tooth or something. I wonder how she managed to do that though. I will keep an eye out and will still try to get a better picture of it. She does not like me opening her mouth lol :)
