Can squirrels play and eat those loofah toys sold for other small mammals?
I know squirrels will chew up stuffees but actually eat them, usually not.
The thing to be concerned on with any stuffed toy for animals or otherwise when it comes
to squirrels is what's inside them. Some like Bennie babies have silicone pellets, some have
silicone packets to help them keep their form. Some like the loofah have squeakers also made
from silicone. All silicone or plastic type products have chemicals you wouldn't want a squirrel
to digest. With whatever stuffed toy you get always squish around them to feel what maybe
inside, if you feel anything you can always make a small slit, take it out and stitch it back up. :great
