We've had this baby squirrel since late Aug n all the sudden it's like he's covered there in his fur. He's inside our house and we were planning on keeping him. His mother got ran over. Now this. I don't know how to get these bugs out of my house hair squirrel n family. Also my bf don't believe me I'm scared don't know what's going on or how to stop it. The bug things are microscopic. They look like a white n clear dot or speck. What should I do? ???

You need to get some kitten Revolution.

Sounds like your little guy has a case of the mites...... while you wait to obtain some kitten Revolution you can wash him with blue Dawn dish soap to help kill some of the mites, and wash his bedding in hot water then place in dryer, the heat will kill off any eggs.

*if his ears look scaly place mineral oil on them, rub gentle.

I agree with the revolution for the baby but if you have that in your hair you need to get a tea tree oil wash or just add some straight tea tree oil to your shampoo. And that is if the tea tree oil works for you. You might need to get one of those toxic lice treatments for your hair. NOT for the baby. If you are absolutely against the toxic poison lice shampoo you can google cetaphil and lice and that actually works. Trust me I'm a mom it actually works. Just need to rid you of the parasites as well as the baby so no one gets reinfected. Good Luck!

Thank you I'm just learning how to reply to messages on here I've been reading a lot and it's all very helpful thank you very much well I figured out that he is a she, I feel silly for not knowing that already, but I gave her Ivermectin do you think it's the same thing as Revolution and quick question does anyone know where these things go when they die like I can't find them to know that I'm getting rid of them or that they're dying period Plus another problem is she won't let me handle her enough to bathe her yet. We're still working on that lol before I found this website I put mayonnaise in my hair a lot of it, and then she sniffed it and let me put them all over her too. Then I realized that that wasn't the right thing to do. Because I couldn't wash the mayonnaise off of her but I wet washcloth and let her rub it off herself. It made the mites or Critters whatever they are bite worse. They've calmed down now perhaps they're dead I'm not really sure they don't itch my head that bad maybe a little and I think they're still in there I've used the lice treatment but I don't know if that Ivermectin kill all of them on her this is crazy I can't afford this to be happening thank you all for your input and answers
