Is it safe for my squirrel to chew on a block?

She acts hungry 24/7 and tries to bite everything but I'm sure it's just because her teeth are coming in. Is it safe to let her chew on a wooden block while I'm waiting for her rodent blocks to come in?

How old is she? --if she is at least 6 weeks old you can give her some thing to chew on, but it would be best if you gave her branches from a fruit or oak tree.
