Could you please tell us.......
How old is she is & whats her weight?
What is her diet like? - food / formula?
Can we get a pic to see her over health & fur?
How long have you had her, to when all this started?

If there wasn't any injury and her not being able use her front legs came out of no where you might need to read up on MBD, but we will take a look at her present diet and see where it may need help.

Could you please tell us.......
How old is she is & whats her weight? About 6 weeks old, not sure of weight.
What is her diet like? - food / formula? Both babies on KMF, whipping cream, water mix. Started both babies on this. Both starting to nibble on rat block.
Can we get a pic to see her over health & fur? I am not sure how to send picture but I will look around.
How long have you had her, to when all this started? Got them both on Sept 5 and these symptoms started on the one little girl yesterday morning.
I am sorry, I am very new to posting so trying to learn my way around. Thank you for responding!

Please switch to POWDERED Esbilac puppy formula and stop with the kitten one. You'll want the one with pro/prebiotics or 3rd ingredient dried whey protein.

No Kitten Formula it messes with their digestive system. Please stop the KMR and flush their bodies out with pedialyte, then start both babies on Esbilac with Probiotics.
You need their weight, as squirrels are feed at 5-7% of their body weight every 4 hours at 6 weeks old. You will need a 1cc or 3cc syringe to feed them with.
Homemade Pedialyte
1 cup hot water
1 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt

My stupid phone won't let me move the photo right now. Once it does, I will upload it. In the meantime I hit the MBD link you provided and have read it thoroughly and am currently giving her a Tums in her formula. I will keep pushing this all day if you feel that is the correct thing for me to do at this point?

Ok, I will do that. I have an unopened bottle of pedialyte already. I have the syringes both 1 and 3 cc. Now, for the Esbilac......is it for a particular animal? I have seen puppy and kitten in the pet store but nothing else?
Puppy. It has a white puppy on the front. Scroll up to see a photo of what you want. But if you are asking the staff you want Esbilac puppy formula with pre-probiotics or the third ingredient is whey protein. (cats are obligate carnivores, basically their diet is different than omnivores like dogs and squirrels.)

The esbilac you want is the exactly picture I posted before - with the white fluffy puppy on it. MAKE SURE it's that EXACT can.

Thank you. I will pick this up. But for today I should be giving them pedialyte instead of any formula to flush out what they currently have in them how long do I do this before starting the puppy formula?
As for the photo, I think I have it, the problem lies with my phone. Once it gets out of the phone and to the destination, I will be able to attach.

Text the photo to me at 203 214-7427. Be sure it is the powdered formula. NOT the liquid.

If we can't find a member close by to help, perhaps we can
locate a vet that is willing to see your little one.

Yes, Dr.L retired. BP not longer sees squirrels for the general public. You have to be a licensed rehabber to go there.
There is a vet on Bloomingdale that will see squirrels. I use them. (Dr.C. B) http://careanimalhospital.org NO questions asked.

Thank you to everyone for helping me today! I started the emergency MBD treatment this afternoon. Little Bitty Squirrel is not doing any worse and she is actually moving around a bit more! I am cautiously optimistic. She is now on her belly sleeping though I have noticed her stomach is very swollen. Soft though to the touch. If someone knows of a vet in the Pinellas County area that would see her please let me know. I will take her in. Again thank you all for being there for me!

As HRT4 mentioned these people are great. They take great interest in squirrels.
If you love your squirrel I'd get her there quick.
Don't like that picture.
