Ugh... Water question

My 8 week old boy hates water. No matter what I do he will not drink it. I have put a shallow dish of water in both his cages and nothing. I went and got a water bottle again nothing. I try to trick him into taking some water through his nipple and that's also a no go... I'm at a loss at what to do....

Just place the glass water bottle in the cage and make sure it is working..... he will use when it is needed. Some squirrels drink a lot of water while others drink very little.

I was concerned for the longest time that mine were not drinking water. It wasn't until they were way past 20-25 weeks old, that they began to drink less formula, and then had a reason to desire water. At that point, they drank what I considered a reasonable amount of water.

Try adding a bit of maple syrup or honey. I think its like 1/4 tsp per cup. I pull up just a bit that fills just the tip of his 5ml syringe then pull in warm water so it desolves.
