Hello!

n the 26th of September father found a small fox squirrel crawling on the ground. He appeared uninjured and after a few hours of hoping momma would come pick him up, Dad brought him in.

I am guessing age of 6 or 7 weeks. http://i.imgur.com/U6LACSuh.jpg

I weighed him and got 113 grams. We are waiting for the Fox Valley formula to come in and have him on the Goats Milk formula. I'm a little concerned. He has pooped snd peeded on his own, but there's not much poop.

The consistency is solid, round to oblong, dark brown and firm to the touch. I thought on forumla it was supposed to be golden brown?

Thank you for any assistence. I did check multiple topics but I kept getting results for diarrhea

Thanks for saving him. You ordered the FV 20/50, right?

I wouldn't worry about poops, yet, since his system still has to adjust to the GM and then again to the FV. If they're super hard, you can give a bit more hydration in between feedings :hug

Thank you so much for the reassurance! :w00t

I did order the 20/50 one, had to double check. It won't be here until the 4th, which is a bummer, but he seems to perked up immensely overnight, so I'm not too worried.

He's a champ at peeing already and he had a few more stools that seemed to be lighter than the previous ones.

I wouldn't worry to much as it takes their little bodies a while to adjust to the new formula, but when they do get a few days of constant food in them the poop size will increase... I have 7 week old that just went through this transition.
