Hello Everyone, Does anyone know if Oasis Vita Drops from PetSmart for hamsters, rats, mice, gerbils is safe for Squirrels. If so, what would the dose be? Thanks so much :)

You can use them if you want, but there really isn't a good reason to do so. TSB suggest you start feeding a good guality squirrel block called HHB when they are 8 weeks old that has all the minerals and vitamins a squirrel will need along with their Esbilac formula.

It would be for a 9 year old squirrel who hasn't been himself for a few months. He is blind and has been staying in his nesty box more often than not where as he used to be active and playful. So I was just hoping the drops might help give him a little boost. Are the bird vita drops better and how much would the dose be of any vita drops? Also, this little fellow was non-releasable so that is why he became an indoor squirrel. Thanks again :)

If you were going to use one, I would say go with the ones for hamsters - I have used it before with my squirrels when they were sick. If you want a really good immune booster for him, this one has been used with good results for pox squirrels and I am currently using it as an immune booster for my wild boy who is fighting bots. Just need a few drops added to food or water. http://www.caoh.com/liqimbarecbe.html
