Well it seems the time has finally come, Lilo is a lot more active and has tripled in size this past month that ive had her.ive been lucky enough that my employer has allowed me to bring her to work with me this whole time.
Now that she is awake more and needing more space im thinking its time to leave her home during the day. Ive been feeding her every 4 hours , i stopped night feedings almost 2 weeks ago. Im wondering if i leave her home with enough food for the day would 6am 530pm and 10pm feedings of formula be enough for her at this stage. She is roughly 10 weeks im guessing

At 10 weeks old you can DEFINITELY cut back to 3 times a day! Great job with her! :thumbsup

My reason for wanting to leave her home is i dont think its fair to her to be stuck in smaller cage all day while im at work. On my lunch we do interact inside my truck where its quiet and contained but im feeling thats may not be enough for her

Thank you.. Im totally in love. I used to say i wanted a squirrel as a pet. Yet i love her to pieces..and realize she will probably be happier being released. So im aiming to release. But if she seems to prefer captivity when the times comes ..ill be happy to keep her. It will be up to her. 278510

They grab a hold of your heart, and take it with them. My girl has me wrapped around each one of her tiny little toes, and she knows it. Looking forward to see Lilo grow!

Be VERY careful with that cage. Since the panels move, her toes/paws can get caught and broken. Also, be prepared for that plastic to be destroyed :grin2

Ya i figured the plastic will be destroyed shortly. And do you mean the panels that are the doorways for opening? I dont want her getting hurt

Oops, I'm sorry. I mean where the two sides of the cages come together. Since they can be snapped into place, that leaves a big enough gap for her to get caught in
