:laugh2 That's cause squirrels are smarter than we are. You went a whole bunch of extra miles to catch Pinky. One day she'll thank you for it. Maybe not today-------

When we had Roo & Chester inside, playing catch-the-squirrels sometimes took an hour.
Great fun, unless you were supposed to meet friends for dinner and wanted to pet them one last time before you left, only to be reminded that the squirrel superpower is to be transform between mini-kangaroo and liquid velcro at will.

If they can escape, they WILL escape. They will not go back in until they are good and ready, and that will not be anything that works with your schedule. Even the sweetest may take a chomp out of you should you insist upon your schedule being followed. Resistance is futile.
