Breck has become a little piggy squirrel. He's taking about 12-14cc at each feeding and still wanting more. We (my mom and I) think he's around 5 weeks now. His eyes have been open for about a week and he's starting to curl his tail. We have started to introduce him to Fox Vally 20/50 and we are keeping an eye on his poops for a change. We have introduced him to the rodent block but he wants nothing to do with it even leaving some in his bed with him. The photo of him on the pink litt blanket was a few days ago and the one with me in it was from last night. I haven't been able to get petter photos (he moves around too much) how old doe he look to y'all? And are we over feeding him?

Oh, he is adorable!

You need to weigh him to know if you are over feeding him. It's really important to get a small kitchen scale. You will use it often, every time he gets an increase in food. He should be getting 5-7% of his body weight. Once you get his weight in grams, multiply it by .05-.07 and that will tell you the range of formula he should get about every 4 hours. You can buy one at Bed Bath and Beyond, Walmart.

Don't worry if he isn't eating the block yet, it's good for him to get exposed to it. He can play with it, pee on it, hide it, etc.

Last weigh in ( 4 days ago) he was 200g.

With that weight he should be eating 10-14 cc
at each feeding...... every four hours.

Just a little FYI...
Babies eyes open pretty much like clock work at 5 weeks old.
He's precious. :Love_Icon:Love_Icon

His eyes went from being closed to being wide open over night. Today we decided it was time for him to get out and stretch his legs some. We laid a sheet on the floor and let him run around on it. My Lola (cat) wanted to check him out so she sat at the edge of the sheet, I never took my eyes off either one of them. He wandered over to her and peed right next to her and then kind of looked at her like "what you going to do about it?" Then wandered back over to me. My moms cat Rudder wasn't even interested in him and laid with her back to him. He was watching her and I reached over to bring him closer to me, Rudder is an indoor outdoor cat so I don't trust her as much. Well I scared him and got my first nip from him. Didn't hurt much but I deserved it because I scared him.

I just can't help but share pics of Breck. He has discovered himself in the camera on my iPad while I was on skype with my husband (overseas with the military) :woot
