I have a 6 week old and he is chewing his bedding... We are using the carefree all natural brown colored. I don't think he is eating it and only chewing because of teething. He has his hhb and also apple chew sticks. Anything else to add at this point for his chewing needs? TIA
I break off fresh twigs from maple and oak trees every morning and they destroy them by nightfall. They are little shredding machines. I found out the hard way that they are thieves too because when I cleaned the cage I found the mechanical pencil that I "lost" under a blanket with both ends chewed up--it amazingly still worked. So they like plastic, but don't give it to them. :grin2

Ditto on the fresh sticks and twigs. Anything plastic will get destroyed - including a cage or a bin! :eek

You can even put a walnut sized rock in there or if you can find some deer antlers they love those.
