I haven't been on for a while nor have I been rehabbing due to the cancer. With the storm leaving so many babies orphaned or displaced I have had to take on some babies. I just picked up what to me looks like a 6-7 week old boy that the finders were trying to care for themselves. The baby stopped eating for them and started rapid breathing and they became worried and sought out help. On exam he is clicking pretty bad and breathing rapidly. He is hydrated and I have given some yogurt with probiotics in preparation for ABs. I don't have any Baytril or Cipro since I have not had any babies for a while. I do have cephalexin 500mg capsules. I have done my dose calculation but due to some brain fog from meds I would be more comfortable if someone double checked me. The baby weighs 127grams

The dose would be 0.06 if you added 10 mLs of water.
It would be better if you could find some Clavamox/Augmentin or Baytril/Cipro
I am so sorry to hear about you having cancer.
I hope you make a full recovery. :hug

Thank you Nancy!
I will be looking for Baytril or Cipro first thing tomorrow. I needed to get something in him tonight to give him a fighting chance.
