What makes you suspect it's broken? Their bones can successfully heal and be releasable. When did you get this little one? Are you looking for someone to take it because you don't want to raise it? If you can upload a picture it would be helpful.

I know it's broken because I work in a clinic and snuck a x ray lol and I can see the femur is broken in half.... The technicians found it outside the clinic.... I have raised then before have experience but not sure if he can be released....

Sorry, I had to go out for a little while. What do you intend to do with the other squirrel? Take it to a Rehabber? I'm not sure what standard procedure is for a squirrel with a broken leg at a Rehabber. I'm not a Rehabber. I do know that others on here have had squirrels with broken legs that have formed their own calcium casts and the legs have set themselves and others have tried wrapping them. Are you hydrating or feeding these guys? I will alert someone to see if there is someone in that area or what is recommended. I am SE of you near Cocoa Bch.

The leg will heal on its own by creating a calcium cast or others here have splinted it and wrapped with vet tape. Don't wrap the toes so you can see if there is swelling from the tape being too tight. There is a member in Orlando, tlh9297, who helps with parks and rehabilitators to care for squirrels. You could reach out to that member. Honestly, if you are familiar with wildlife you could keep them together and raise them. I dont think a broken leg means he/she can't ever be released. Some rehabbers may not have the time to care for him though. Please let us know what you decide to do.
