In in south fl and rescued a baby grey almost a week ago. He is doing great healthy and happy but I would like for him to be wild and not a pet and I want him to grow up with other babies so he gets social skills. If you are a rehaber in my area please contact me. I am afraid he will get to attached to me and because im already attached to him. so it will be hard to give him up but I want what's best for him in the long run. Thank you

You are down around Boca Raton ...... thats three hours from me in Lakeland, so I cannot help or get help here, but I do have a friend in Miami that runs a rehab center, they are about 50 minutes from you.

Just remember parts of Florida were slammed with the hurricane,
and tons of babies are looking for places to go.
Not sure your little one would get much attention, or if places are still
accepting squirrels.
If Rhapsody recommends them, they must be ok.
Rhapsody, perhaps you could make a call to find out if they are overburdened. :dono

I am sorry..... I was away. Richard and his wife take in animals of all kind, not just possums. Let me know if you have not contacted them yet and I will see if they have any openings. I my self do not have any squirrels atm, other than my 3 older nr squirrels, as I had to take the year off due medical concerns.
