Lilo is doing very well now. Time to start planning. Ahead for her future..ideally i would like to release her in our backyard..(rural area)
I do have 2 totally wild red squirrels (tobias and foamie) that i have befriended i hand feed them occasionally and i have 5 wild chipmunks ( teenie, tiny, tastie, tater , and tot) that visit me for storage supplies:p there are 1 or 2 other grey squirrels that are around as well but i am not friends with them.
I know which areas the red squirrels have claimed i have a separate area in mind for Lilo..is it possible there wouldnt be any territory bullying. Seems the squirrels bounce around between my home and my neigjbours. Pretty much at least a 3 acre area there is more space around us but i havent paid attention to further than i can see from my yard
