A friend near Beaufort had a 4-5 week orphan, emaciated & dehydrated...I sent her a bunch of info, including info from this site, but she can't find any rehabbers who take squirrels in that area.

He's critical and needs hydration right away!
Put some fleece in there with him.

I live in Athens, GA.

How far from Jacksonville? Lillidukes is in Jacksonville. Poor baby. He needs care ASAP. Wish he was here.

Lilldukes is in SPARTANBURG. She's on the road in NC right now. She's about 225 miles from Beaufort.

Thank you SO much everyone!!! I just heard from my friend there and she took the little guy to a rehabber in Columbia. Kind of a long drive, but she was nervous about keeping him too long, since he was so skinny & dehydrated etc. Thank you again!! I'm hopeful he is well-hydrated, sleeping soundly in a warm fleecie with a full belly right now.
