Roxie is 5 weeks, going on 6 this Thursday by my estimation I've had her 4 weeks this Thursday, her diet is esbilac formula. She has opened her eyes since end of last week weighed 127 grams this morning after she ate. I have been feeding 6 times a day every 4 hours, she is now eating 7.5cc per feeding. I think as she increases weight at 5-7% this is going to be too much at 6 times a day. She is getting a pretty big belly after she eats, but still has solid poop although it has changed from a yellowish to more green/yellow the last couple of days. I purchased the HHP blocks but she has tried them when I hand feed her, but not eating in cage. I read and think I understand that I should cut feedings down to 5 x a day, and start giving her water in a bowl with the HHB block. Is there a percentage of her total weight she should get a day in milk or just keep doing the 5-7 percent?

Thanks
Tanner

At this age you can cut the feedings down to 4x a day every five hour at the 7% (8-9 cc) and place small pieces of the hhb in the cage for her to nibble on. At this time I also add in a glass water bottle for drinking if they need after eating some of the hhb.
