Hi there! I have two 5-6 day old babies that I've had for almost two days now. However i'm wondering if I should be concerned by the fact that they have not gained any weight yet? When we first got them (saturday early evening) I weighed them at 11g. Just now after the first feeding today they are both still at 11g.

They are both eating about .6cc of formula (esbilac puppy powder) each feeding and I'm feeding them every 3 hours except at night where they go 5 hours between feedings once.

It can take a few days. Just went through that with little Jax. He finally gained 2 grams....As long as they are not loosing weight, continue as you have. Do you have any pics? How are they pottying? They are on heat and formula is fed very warm as well, correct?

Yes, they are on a heating pad and kept quite warm. The formula is being kept in a kind of double boiler system while I feed them, so whatever is in the syringe is staying very warm as well (i keep checking temp on my hand as I feed to make sure it doesn't go cold).

Bathroom is going well, they both actively urinate upon stimulation (using a cotton ball dampened and pinched into a slim, tongue shape lol) . Neither one likes to poo for me while i stimulate them but if I stimulate for pee, then set them down to feed the other, then pick up again they will usually have pooped a LOT. I'll clean them up and stimulate more and can usually get a bit more poo out before they seem empty. Over all stimulation time of around 8 minutes per baby. Bowel movements seem to be lining up with what I expected based on my research. Getting mostly yellow pellets now instead of black string.

Here is a pic from day one (saturday evening) @ 11g:
