All,
I have a large, covered outdoor enclosure for my 10 month old Eastern Grey. (Tin roof that has insulation board and is partially shaded). The heat index today is 103. Should I move him indoors?
Opinions appreciated.

I live in Central Florida and when I have squirrels outside in the release cage getting ready for their day of freedom I do not bring them in inside on hot days, as they need to acclimate to their surroundings and unfortunately the hot weather is a part of it when they are in Florida.
Just cover the top of the cage to shade the squirrels from the sun and make sure they have plenty of fresh water to drink.

Thanks Carolyn, Peanut isn't "releasable" so he spends his nights inside. I am a bit worried with the "back and forth". He has a ton of water and food available at all times :)

If he spends his nights inside I would bring him in and keep him there until that heat is gone.

I agree with pappy1264. I mean, why risk it since he's doesn't need acclimating?
