What is best for Juniper?

Juniper is an adult, wild squirrel who was hurt and is paralyzed from the chest down.

While recovering from her wounds and such she stayed in a large cage in our bedroom. Once she was off the meds and her wound had healed she became very active and mobile, making it clear she wanted it out of that cage. So we started leaving the door open for her to go in an out as she pleases. She then made a new nest under our bed.

While she was on the meds we were able to exercise her legs, clean her up, etc. But now that she is off them, she is back to being a wild squirrel who won't let us touch her. This worries me because we can no longer do physical therapy with her legs. She has some feeling, and may be getting more, so I know the PT is important because she may even be releasable some day.

So what I'm questioning is whether or not we are the right place for Juniper to be. She's active and mobile, but not getting the leg workouts she needs. I don't think she'll get any better in this situation. Any advice or recommendations? I want her to have a long happy life.

Your the only place for Juniper to be!
There is no "wildlife center, facility, whatever," that is going to take (or have) the time to give to a paralyzed squirrel.
These squirrels are deemed non-returnable to the wild and euthanized.
You would also be hard pressed to be able to find a private rehabber that willingly wants to take on a paralyzed squirrel.
Most that do have these squirrels have rescued them in that condition, it wasn't a choice.
