lulus leg is still broken and i was told by the vet to put her in something that she cant climb around on so it can heal properly. everything that i have tried to put her in she has either chewed her way out and i feel bad for sticking her in a little hamster cage that she could proably pop apart so i cut off half of her cage but she is still climbing but the sides a little bit anyone know of something i can put on the sides to where she cant climb up it??

A large plastic storage container might work unless she's a pine (red) squirrel. They can climb up ANYTHING.

This is a photo, but it's a set of four.

A metal box would also work.

Yeah. Maybe one of the handles could be removed to allow air, but could be put back on later once your squirrel's leg is healed so the storage container could be used for other purposes.

YES! Definitely. Because she's a big girl I would get a large bin that's deep. I would drill 1/2 inch holes in the lid. I drill lots of holes. When I buy bins I get the ones that you can sorta see through. Even though they are hazy you can still see them and they can see you. I never buy the bins that are totally opaque. That's just too depressing to be in an opaque box-like bin with minimal light.

I would pad the bottom with a lot of fleece. If it's deep enough you might not need the lid.
