Human Cold / Squirrels

Experienced rehabbers - I have a question. I have a cold and am afraid to pass it on to our 4 month old foxer. He lives outside now but comes in to sleep sometimes and likes to snuggle.

Anyone know if they can catch a cold from us?

I do not believe that is possible.

Vet few things are transferrable. I've had the same worries. My vet friend says no.

A friend of mine who works at the Atlanta Zoo said they have to wear masks around the animals when they are sick. :dono
