Does your squirrel love A/C vents too?

My squirrel, Fall, loves the A/C vent. I'm just curious if anyone else's squirrel loves it too. I think she either gets smells from the outside from it, or maybe throughout the whole house. Or she just really likes the cold air. Either way, she sits under it for 5 to 10 minutes at a time. So I was just wondering if other squirrels do this? :squirrel1:squirrel4

We don't have central air in our house, but we do have a fridge/freezer combo with the freezer on top, & Jazzy has figured out how to open the freezer slightly (it's old & doesn't have the tightest seal anymore), and he'll pancake across the opening if he gets too warm!

That is one smart squirrel you have there.:great Squirrels are very curious and will poke into things so make sure Jazzy can't get in there (I could imagine the door closing behind Jazzy). Maybe a strip of tape or something to help keep it closed?

:grin3Baby loves our vents....she sleeps in our bedroom and before she goes to bed if the AC cuts on she runs over to the edge of the bed and sniffs the air :grin3 in the squirrel room it's another whole story....when the vent cuts on in the summer...well, a picture's worth a 1,000 words :serene

Fall would love it if we had vents like that at our house! I don't think she would ever move. I guess they really do just like the cold air. She also tries to go into the freezer and fridge as well. I was just wondering if she was just a little odd ball, but apparently not! :grin2:squirrel2

Nope she's not an oddball at all! Our two boys LOVE the A/C vent as well. Since our vents are in the ceiling they will jump on my husbands head and stand on their hind feet to stretch as close to the vent as possible. Then they just sniff the air and won't move! It's very interesting that these guys have "learned" this behavior. :grin3
