I a 9 year old Gray Squirrel that is not eating like she normally does. She is drinking more water but not eating her veggies. She get her HHB twice a day before she gets anything else. She get kale, broccoli, asparagus, snap peas, grapes, tomato, apple, mushroom, and other healthy veggies. I don't want to miss something and let it become a major issue. She is a sweet heart and loves to get hugs and scratches. Is there anything I should be watching for at this time?

How are her teeth?
Many times over grown teeth become the issue when appetite drops that many
don't recognize until they become a serious issue.

Her teeth do not appear to be a problem. I have always made sure she has plenty to chew on to keep them ground down. She seems to be drinking more water than normal. I know that because she is almost 9 that could be making the difference. I just don't want to miss something that could become a problem.

Just an update. As usual Squirrel board information is on track. I had tried to look at her teeth but she was not cooperative. Thanks to a member that helped me find a local vet that was willing to help Charley. Her top teeth were worn down almost to the gums and the bottom were overgrown. She was able to trim the bottom and her nails. So we are on soft food for 30 days and then back for a check up to see if the bottom teeth need additional trimming. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. She did a complete check up and said Charley is in great health.
