Does anyone know if these are safe to feed squirrels
I'm not sure about if it's nutritious for them, but I've offered beets and turnips in the past. Never had a taker though. Maybe a nibble but not even a fake bury.

Beets are included in the "avoid" column of the healthy diet chart....

I see turnips in the avoid list but I don't see beets in any list. Are beets and turnips in the same family?

I don't know if they are okay or not. If they are listed as "avoid," they are probably NOT okay. That being said, if any creature eats a lot of red beets, don't be alarmed if you see red urine. I don't mean to be gross, just a heads up.
