Do you think she was cat caught?
You will need a weight on her, and the strength of the Baytril.
Can you post a picture?
Did you just find this little one?

Do you have infant ibuprofen?

No I have had her since July.she was playing and not sure what happened but her eye is swollen, but she can open it.she will be still for a little while, then gets upset and jumps around. She keeps rubbing her eye

Can you gently flush her eye with contact lens saline solution.
I wonder if she has something in it,
or something poked her.

If she has discomfort get the liquid infant ibuprofen can dose it for you if you have a weight on her.

Here's a great antibacterial eye ointment, see if you vet has any they will sell you.

I would not dose her any antibiotic now.

Thanks, I actually have some of that exact med. I did wipe it with a warm cloth. Can I use eye drops? To flush her eye..sterile artificial tears?

OK just don't wipe anymore in case there is a little something in her eye,
we want to flush it out without scratching it.
You can use a little of the artificial tears, put a few drops, ~3-4 and it may help, but
that basically just moisturizes the eye.
We don't even know if anything is in it or she just somehow hurt it.
Which same med do you have, the Terramycin that I sent the link to?
If so use that after the artificial tears.

Hi, so her eye is still swollen and seems cloudy at times, she spent most of the day in her nest and not very active. I put a warm compress on her eye then followed with a cold compress. She seemed to like both. I was able to put more ointment on her eye lid, but she tends to wipe it off. I did wash her eye out again with saline solution. She is eating and drinking as normal. She is still making strange noises. But she will sit still with me and let me pet her. I have noticed that she seems a bit nervous and I'm not sure if it affected her eyesight or not.. I am worried about her. I just want her to be ok.. Thanks for helping and the advice.

Here's a thread that was just recently posted about another little squirrel that
had an eye problem. She ended up going to a vet.
Perhaps some of the suggestions etc. will be helpful for you as well. :grouphug
Do you have a vet that would see her?

Thank u for that thread, I see a lot of similarities in her squirrel and mine, although no glass was involved. I am not sure about a vet, possibly the same vet I took my raccoon too would see her. Not sure how much experience she has with them. She is an exotic vet, but sure didn't do much for my raccoon. :frustratedx:tap
But thank you again for your help..
