272256Someone ended up with raccoon babies because a house was under demolition or being demolished.
Does anyone know how to best reunite these babies with their raccoon mother?
Dealing with them is not legal where we are.
Rather urgent.
Thank you!

You can reunite just like you do squirrels. Put them in a box with a heat source and some blankets. Make sure Mom can reach in and get them but they can't get out. Put the box where the house was, best time is at dusk and watch from a distance. You can try for 2 nights for a few hours until dark. After that I think they need to go to someone who will raise them. Good luck!
I actually just did this with a coon that had her babies in my crawl space and would not leave after 2 days and nights of Music and strobe lights…lol So while Momma was out we retrieved the babies out of the insulation under the floorboards of my house and put them in a box that she could get into thru a entry way. It was around 1 in the afternoon that she started moving them. She took 4, coming back every 6 minuets and then stopped coming back. We gave her until 8:30 that evening and because it was cold out finally brought the other 2 in. We tried again the next evening with no go. So I'm raising them. 6 is huge litter and they will sacrifice some to save the others. Momma is one of my releases so it doesn't surprise me, ungrateful wench.

Momma sounds like a pretty smart wench to me...
She didn't just leave them, she left them with you. http://www.sherv.net/cm/emo/laughing/laughing-smiley-face.gif
