I was just recording the squirrels playing and noticed Elvis was dragging his butt. The video below its towards the very end. He weighs 224grams. And im guessing 7 weeks old? Maybe 8? I feed this whole 3x a day and they eat 7% if not more their body weight (i keep eye on tummys to make sure not too full). Any idea why hes doing this? He pees normal... soaks at least 5 to 6 cotton balls if not more when i stimulate after feedings. Hes also been going on his own here and there. Caught him a few times.

I could be wrong but it looks to me that he's just practicing territorial marking.

Ok thats what i was thinking and just wanted to be sure no one thought it was a UTI or anything that needs meds. This little guy is a little more feisty than the others and jumps and growls at me from time to time then turns around and tries to play lol.

Our female non release does this to me any time I've washed the "play sweater" I wear when spending time with her.
She has to make sure I am properly marked as HER property. LOL.
I don't think there is anything wrong with your little one because of what he's doing but others may have different insight.
The jumping and "growling" is normal as well with feisty kids.
You've got your hands full with that one. :grin2

Trust me i know. They all just run to the door when they see me kinus him and his actual sister Lucy. She either growls a little too or is sleeping. She actually sleeps alot but doesnt seem sick or anything. She eats good at meal time and everything.
